San Francisco

We probably took more pictures in San Francisco than in any other city (more to follow in the next couple of days).  There is just so much to look at.

We met our friends, the Putnams (also from Grand Junction) and their gaggle of kids in San Fran.  We decided to explore the city together, taking in as much of the city in a day as we possibly could.

This is the city of fog.  Every night, it rolled in over the hills, hiding the buildings.

Good thing San Fran doesn’t get snow; these steep streets would be ridiculous to drive on.

It wasn’t just me being a coldy; it was freezing in San Francisco.  I’m told it pretty much always is.

Another highlight of our San Francisco day was the Putnam’s youngest, Liam, playing in and subsequently falling in a downtown fountain.  He then had to walk around San Francisco for the rest of the day in sopping clothes.  It was priceless.

He is the cutest.
Isn’t he cute?

Beautiful! I wish I would have met Em Bailey there for our trip as we had planned. Shoot. Well, perhaps I should get there soon. Now I know why Don and Trish love to visit there. Too bad it’s so dang expensive to live there…
