Good coffee can be found in Grand Junction, CO
For those of you that don’t know, I (Seth) love coffee. I’m not an incredibly picky coffee drinker, but there’s definitely something to be said for a truly great coffee. I’ve come to love the consistency of Starbucks (especially as we travel), but it can lack the love a smaller shop adds to the espresso. After spending hours, days, and probably years of my life in coffee shops, I’ve found one in particular that just gets it. With great coffee, culture, patrons, baristas, hours, and location, Roasted Espresso and Subs gets a big thumbs up from me.
Roasted Espresso and Subs (on the corner of 5th and Colorado in Downtown Grand Junction, CO) has, in my opinion, the best espresso in town. The shop is pretty small, but they do have good seating space. They offer free wifi (which is a must for me to be a patron), outside seating, and a couple parking spots on the side. If you’d like to experience a little taste of Grand Junction’s downtown culture, I’d definitely suggest spending some time at Roasted Espresso and Subs.
Carrie’s Note: If you’re jonesin’ for an amazing sandwich, try the “Larry David.” It includes ham (which I usually substitute for turkey), salami, mixed peppers, onion, swiss, cream cheese, tomato, sprouts, and spicy ranch. De. Lish.
Here are a few pictures I took of their place when I found a few minutes between customers while writing this quick review.
