Much like many who stay in this area, we stayed at the Radisson because of its proximity to Disney and Universal Studios. I found this hotel online, read a ton of great reviews, was impressed by the pictures of the rooms, etc.
We weren’t disappointed. The room was beautiful. I am very concerned about bed bugs, and every hotel we stay in, I do a thorough search of the bed–including the box springs, the mattress, the mattress cover, and the sheets. I found nothing: no stains or any sign of bed bugs. The room was clean as a whistle; obviously, this hotel prides itself on its cleanliness.
We weren’t too impressed with the service, however. Check-in was slow, and the lady working downstairs at the Disney ticket counter was difficult to follow (we ended up buying our tickets at Disney Quest in Downtown Disney). They don’t have continental breakfast, which was disappointing. They DO have wifi. However, ultimately, what’s the most important to me in a hotel is cleanliness, so I’m willing to overlook these small inconveniences as long as my room is tidy and clean.
As far as price goes, it was definitely our best bang for our buck. We paid $113/night through AAA.
Would I stay here again? Most definitely.
